The Music Ministry exists to give to the Lord the glory due to His name through Christian music, we worship the Lord and lead others in worshiping Him. Minister of Music Hank Oplinger leads and directs the music in all traditional and blended services. He also oversees the adult choir, ensembles, and orchestra.

There are choirs for all ages. Children, Youth and adult choirs rehearse on Wednesday evenings. Smaller, auditioned adult ensembles often lead in worship as well as minister through music at events beyond St. Matthew itself. The blended music ministry includes an orchestra, which accompanies the choir and congregation each Sunday at both the 8:00am and 10:45 am services.

The contemporary music ministry is led by a team of highly motivated, passionate people who have a heart to see Christ glorified. This ministry features high quality modern music and musicians and is featured in both the 9:17am and Revolution services each week.
