Legacy Five and the Crist Family

In 1999, the Southern Gospel Music world was changed forever when the Cathedral Quartet announced their farewell tour. After 39 years, George Younce and Glen Payne were finally ready to retire the Cathedral name forever. After much prayer and consideration, Roger Bennett and Scott Fowler decided to take the Cathedral legacy forward by forming a new quartet. Legacy Five took the stage in January of 2000 and their music has been received with the same kind of enthusiasm as the Cathedrals in the beginning of their reign.

The Crist Family is considered to be one of the fastest rising family groups in gospel music today. Their blend of voices, great songs, high energy, clever staging, variety of music and incredible testimony is second to none.

The Collingsworth Family -

Excitement, spiritual anointing, family-emphasis, and musical excellence are what you can expect to find when you step across the threshold of the auditorium for an Evening of Family Worship.

Since their first engagement together as musicians for a church camp in Petersburg, Michigan in August, 1986 until now, the ministry God has given Phil & Kim has expanded and flourished until it is a full-time livelihood that involves their entire family. Their boundaries of influence have expanded until they have sung and played all over the United States (as well as internationally) into their 24th year of ministry. Their constant, persistent attention to cutting-edge arranging, musical excellence, and a proper balance of spiritual emphasis are the keys to success God has helped them tap.

Ernie Haase and Signature Sound have helped Southern Gospel Music reach a new audience. With their “signature” appearance, short ties and spike hair, and their high energy, dynamic stage performance, they are reaching a younger audience. Indeed they breaking the stereotypic image of what a Southern Gospel group looks and sounds like. Add to the mix pianist Roy Webb’s excellent sense of humor and it is easy to see why Ernie Haase and Signature Sound are performing to sell-out crowds from coast to coast.
