Love In Action's goal is seek out charities with needs and provide funding until that specific need is met. Our mission is to provide venues to assist others, mainly youth of all ages, and to publicly facilitate funding for charities in need. Our current funding project is Christian Activity Center of East St. Louis, or better known as the CAC. To learn more about the CAC, please visit their website.

Book Bags for the CAC: The Christian Activity Center in East St. Louis is in need for book bags for the upcoming school year. Last time they collected bags they ran out and many kids were not able to take one home. There is a drop off spot in the foyer for your purchased backpacks to be donated. Our goal is 900 and we are currently at 300. Thank you!

Food Pantry: The St.Matthew Food Pantry seeks to aid local families by supplying them with a healthy variety of food on a regular basis in their time of need. The Food Pantry also supplies food baskets at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter so that these families may experience the love and generosity of God through His people.

Thrift Store: The St. Matthew Thrift Store seeks to help serve the material needs of the surrounding community. It is a place for people to buy low-cost clothing and other merchandise for their families. The Thrift Store is completely run by volunteers and the goods they sell are donated by church members and other families around the community.

Christian Activity Center (CAC) – East St. Louis The St.Matthew Young Adults and Youth ministries both take active rolls throughout the year in bringing aid and fellowship to the children of the CAC. They help sponser fund raisers, youth activities, and material aid for the surrounding communities.
